Another day on Assateague Island draws to an end and true to form, the island does not disappoint with this wonderful view. I couldn't count the number of breathtaking sunsets I've seen courtesy of Assateague. Assateague Island is one of my favorite places. It is situated on the southern end of Marylands' Eastern Shore and continues into Virginia where it ends in the Tom's Cove area. Most often I visit the federal park on the Maryland portion of the island. Assateague was once connected to Ocean City, MD but a hurricane cut the land mass in two.
First and foremost I am a Father of 2 beautiful girls. Originally I'm from Baltimore, Maryland, spending my childhood in South Baltimore (about 5 blocks from the Inner Harbor) and in 2010, I moved to Ocean View, Delaware along the Indian River Bay and Atlantic Ocean. Typically I photograph those things that capture my eye. With a portfolio including wildlife, architecture, people, places, statues, flowers, insects, sunsets, clouds, sky scenes, planes, boats, cars, motorcycles and more you will find a wide array of subjects. There are a few digital creations as well. Since I still do some work in Baltimore I travel back and forth a couple times a week.
