Description
Streams Blue light up the night at the Indian River Inlet. The Indian River Inlet Bridge (officially the Charles W. Cullen Bridge) on Coastal Highway (Route 1), north of Bethany Beach crosses the inlet at the Indian River Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. This award winning perspective showcases the brilliant lights that can be seen each night and features the trails from vehicle head lights and tail lights. This bridge was completed in 2012 becoming a spectacular addition to the various bridges on the Delmarva Peninsula. Along the coast the sun, surf, sand and wildlife are key attractions but sometimes, the highways and byways that bring us to the coast and allow us to get around once here can also become part of the attraction, this would be one of those attractions.

I was researching good places to shoot in DE as we will be spending a few days there over the holiday. I came upon your shot. Very nice job!
Billy Beck replied:
Thank you! Sometimes I feel like I need to do some research myself! :-) Kevin Fleming is a local photographer (worked for National Geographic) and his gallery is on the main street in Rehoboth Beach. If you could contact him he could give you a wealth of suggestions.

This is a fabulous view of the inlet bridge.

Thanks! This image is in Delaware Beach Life magazine's October issue (placed 3rd in the scenic category in their annual contest) and will be on display in the Rehoboth Beach Museum starting December 6th.
