The end of another day in the summer down the shore along the Indian River Bay. Three friends are gathered at the end of the dock, one of them sits with a fishing line cast, the other two stand close by, a couple empty bait cages adorn the pier and through one of the bait traps the sun reaches the horizon. Seems a perfect way to end the day with friends. These three children probably don't even realize how perfect this scenario is and only when they think back on those childhood memories and look at old photos will they then realize how special time with friends can be. Scenes like this play out all along the Delaware, Maryland & Virginia ( Delmarva ) coast. These Norman Rockwell type moments are the time with Family and Friends that we could all savor a bit more because thy are fleeting and often not even appreciated until they are memories.
First and foremost I am a Father of 2 beautiful girls. Originally I'm from Baltimore, Maryland, spending my childhood in South Baltimore (about 5 blocks from the Inner Harbor) and in 2010, I moved to Ocean View, Delaware along the Indian River Bay and Atlantic Ocean. Typically I photograph those things that capture my eye. With a portfolio including wildlife, architecture, people, places, statues, flowers, insects, sunsets, clouds, sky scenes, planes, boats, cars, motorcycles and more you will find a wide array of subjects. There are a few digital creations as well. Since I still do some work in Baltimore I travel back and forth a couple times a week.
